CLUB SERVICES
Our club is volunteer run and membership driven to provide the following services in Amador County and surrounding areas:
NCAMOTC/NOMOTC
MMOMs members are also members of the state and national organizations of mothers of twins clubs. These organizations offer many benefits, including fun and educational conventions for moms of multiples!
v
Playgroups/Field Trips
Members open their homes up for playgroups or host field trips for children of all ages. Expectant mothers are invited to come get an idea of what life with multiples is really like!
v
Monthly Newsletters
Our awesome newsletter provides important club information, calendars of club & community events, member profiles/updates, informational articles, classifieds, resources, and much more!
v
Meal Program
This program is available to new moms and moms in need of assistance. Members volunteer to cook meals and deliver them!
v
Moms' Socials
Every month, all members are invited to a Moms' Social for good food, friendship and fun! Occasionally, dads are also invited to a Couple's Night Out! Often, free childcare is available on site during meetings!
v
Family Gatherings
Members and their families are invited to several special events each year, including a summer picnic, harvest festival, egg hunt, and holiday party!
v
Guest Speakers
We provide information about people speaking locally about family/parenting/childcare issues, & invite guest speakers to share their knowledge with our members.
v
Resource Library
We have an extensive list of books, videos, and magazines that members and community agencies may borrow. There are various topics to choose from and our library continues to grow! To see the list of resources available, click here!
v
Experience Sharing
Whenever members have questions or concerns (regarding such things as fertility treatment, prematurity, bedrest, breastfeeding, developmental delay, etc.), they can be connected with other members who have similar experience for support and information.
v
Email Newsgroup
Club and community information, member updates, questions, helpful tips, and support are shared through our email network of moms of multiples.
v
Community Education
Community members/agencies (teachers, childcare providers, parent educators, doctors, foster care agencies, etc.) seeking information about the pregnancy, care and education of multiple birth children are invited to borrow from our Resource Library at and can be connected with members of the club. Additionally, MMOMs distributes educational materials and information at several community events each year.
